Secondary Complications of High Blood Sugar Levels

Research shows that there are two major causes of nerve damage due to chronic high blood sugar levels. This nerve damage can impair vision if it occurs in the eye, or cause pain, numbness and tingling if it occurs in the extremities.

  1. The production of free radicals due to such high amounts of sugar
  2. The production of sorbitol (a sugar alcohol) which causes increased osmotic pressure that causes swelling and distortion of cells. It also forces two important anti-oxidants, B6 and glutathione, out of the cells leaving them vulnerable to the free radicals.

DB Care contains Jambul which can actually help decrease secondary complications.*

Similar problems can affect the kidneys and lead to kidney failure. Kidney damage due to high blood sugar is a very serious problem.

Example Case

There is a person who was on dialysis for kidney failure who began taking herbs and recovered so well that she didn't need dialysis anymore.

Kidney problems due to high blood sugar levels has five stages of severity that range from the early stages (Stage I) to complete renal failure (Stage V). Kidney damage due to high blood sugar is considered to be progressive (ie. it always gets worse, never better). Nowhere is it said that it's possible for this problem to regress, but apparently it can. In some cases people have gone from Stage III to Stage I, while others have gone from Stage II to Stage 0, while using DB Care.*
